Access policy and use of the data bank
The statistical publications of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality don't contain all the possible results of the statistical exploitations based on the information systems that are responsibility of the Health Information Institute, that's why organizations, institutions and researchers are invited to employ the free access files, available in our Data Bank, as a material for the development of their researches and studies. The file download is free and is intended to implement the principles of accessibility increase, openness, effectiveness and efficiency which prevail in our diffusion and working policies.
The data are provided in an anonymized way (in those operations subject of statistical secret) and are accompanied of the suitable information for its understanding and use: glossary of terms, questionnaires and technical sheets.
The statistical handling and processing of the downloaded files of the Data Bank, as well as the accuracy or reliability of the information obtained from its operation is the sole responsibility of the agency, institution or researcher, author of the study.
The Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality and the Health Information Institute must be quoted only as source of the primary piece of information.
