The National Health System Key Indicators are a prioritized set of information which gathers the most relevant aspects of health and the Spanish healthcare system. Its development has been done in cooperation with the autonomous regions through the Subcommittee on Information Systems of the National Health System Inter-Territorial Board.
The choice of indicators has been done by consensus among the administrations represented in the National Health System Inter-Territorial Board, which approved at its plenary session in March 2007, a first list of 110 indicators. The chosen indicators are related with the population, the state of health and its determiners, the supply of resources, the activity, the quality, the expenditure and the satisfaction of the citizens.
The methodological framework of reference is the ECHI system
(European Community Health Indicators)
and the
ECHIM project (European Community Health Indicators Monitoring)
of the
European Commission.

INCLASNS - DB database: allows searches and displays the results in tables,
graphs or maps that can be exported for later use. In its preparation was used
a WHO program.
